Martex Rangefinder

I picked this old rangefinder up in a secondhand store for just R145 (about $20 US). It seems to be in working order but I won't know until I've bought a film to put through it. I've searched on Google but not been able to find out any information about it. It is apparently Japanese as JAPAN is imprinted on the bottom. If anyone knows anything about these cameras I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
