"Two little maids from school are we..."

This costume was put together as part of a contest to take creative pictures of the Yum Yum sculpture currently displayed in downtown Wake Forest, NC. With my hobby as a costume artist, how could I resist?
The dress (actually a nightgown) was rented from Hughie and Louie's costume shop. The wig was purchased there. The rest of the costume is mine.

Wrackspurts and crumple-horned snorkacks... no one does loony like Luna Lovegood and her father. Here I am in my latest Harry Potter-based costume, which was not rented but all mine. The butterbeer cap necklace was handmade, as was the copy of the Quibbler. My Luna made her first appearance at The Raleigh Road Outdoor Theater's first showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Thank heaven for Luna and her Spectre-specs!

Halloween 2009 - A local wine shop The Twisted Vine hosted a costume contest... and they have great windows!
