ANZAC Day 2008

The cap badge of the Gordon Highlanders: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordon_Highlanders
My great-grandfather (a piper from Paisley) wore the Gordon tartan. He emigrated to Maryborough Qld. at a young age.
Balmoral bonnet
My mother gave me this tie of Modern Hunting MacMillan tartan
My bagpipes inscribed: "Circa 1885 MacDougall-Henderson." Made by the pipe maker MacDougall and mounted with Henderson ivory mountings, they were brought to Tasmania from Scotland early in the 20th Century. I play a wooden Naill chanter, use cane drone reeds and a leather bag.
THE 79th (or Cameron of Erracht) tartan: http://www.eldonspecialties.com/df/camerons/tartan.htm
Regimental hair sporran: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sporran
Kilt belt and buckle moulded with thistles and inscribed "R.R.B"
