The kiosk behind me is a "better world investment portal" I'm about to roll out across the grid as part of a Second Life "alternative gifts" program.

Relevance to Digital Zeitgeist: this pic is deeply relevant to my personal context for the digital realm and how it shapes the age we live in. A great deal of my "first life" is defined by my choices as a "better world scout", and this is magnified exponentially by the bridge building that occurs through social technology. From the strengthening of first life relationships that are otherwise a challenge across the barriers of diverse timezones and geography, to the nodes of the networks that are connected through the kind of philanthropy that happens via new digital economies, there are a very rich set of intrinsic rewards to enjoy because of the time we live in.
