Taken with three macro lenses stacked on a zoom lens on a Canon 40D.
Strobist info: I used a Canon Speedlite 430EX (with a Sto-Fen Omnibounce diffuser) tethered to the camera with a Canon OC-E3 Off-Camera Shoe Cord. I handheld the Speedlite in front of my eye on the side of lens. Unfortunately, due to the very shallow depth of field with the macro lenses, I had to take a number of pictures to get this one...temporarily blinding myself.

What a sacrifice in order to get the shot! I never thought that human eye looks like this when viewed so closely, really fascinating image!
