Final Touches.

A little over a year ago Mark had us dyno tune his SR20 powered Ford Escourt. At the time the car was far from street legal so we were unable to perform the road tuning portion of our work. Completeing the road tune allows us to ensure the perfect driveability.

Mike Bradley made his first appearance this season at the 4 & Rotary Nationals in the HD2 RWD EVO. While the weekend didn't quite go to plan, Mike still managed to go all the way to the finals in the Pro class where he narrowly lost with an 8.9 second pass.

The STM crew worked hard all day chasing a problem that had the car well down on power, preventing the elusive 7 second pass we all want to see. The car will be out racing again soon so stay tuned for more updates.

POTD - V8 Tuning

Chris Anderson's nitrous assisted 1UZFE ute laid down an impressive 400 kw at the wheels a couple of weeks back as we were getting it ready for the 4 & Rotarty Nationals.

Fingers crossed for a great weekend with a sticky track and some fast times!

POTD - Project Haggis Dyno Time

POTD - Project Haggis Dyno Time

In preparation for this weekends V 4 & Rotary Nationals, Chris hit the dyno with 'Project Haggis'. The results were awesome with Chris coaxing a huge 615 whp (458 kw atw) on 32 psi boost.

These are great numbers but what makes them more impressive is that Project Haggis still runs an un-opened factory engine! No aftermarket pistons or rods, and in fact the sump and head have never been off since the car rolled off the production line!

Dyno numbers are great but on Sunday we hope to measure its performance in the real world as we chase the current stock-block world record of 9.72.

Fingers crossed!

Disclaimer: 615 whp is NOT recommended as a smart or safe place to run your EVO 9, and if you aren't prepared for the possible consequences, don't try this at home kids!
