Spuds On October 18, 2006, after a life of 18 and 1/2 years, Spuds lost his battle to his illnesses. He went quietly; his head sank softly down, and his fur, so rough, went soft and silky, as it had been when we met him. Goodbye, old man. And thank you, everybody who helped.
