I grew up in the midwest, where we always seemed to adopt trends a little late. Hell, I saw some grown women with big, pouffy bangs when I was visiting last month. Yikes.

Ahh, the 80s. Though I can happily say that I was never guilty of the "mall claw," I did rock out French-rolled jeans. I just learned that these wacky Californians used to refer to them as "pegged jeans."

@stillframe - Yep. The big, pouffy bangs are still going strong here, as is the mullet.
