Kilimanjaro

I had planed to experiment a lot with long exposures of the stars in the night on the trek, having seen some amazing shots by others in the thin air in the heights. But since I didn't get any sleep this first night, and had troubles sleeping the rest of the tour, it just didn't seem right to go to bed and set the clock to wake me up half and hour later (to stop an exposure) if I actually finally did succeed falling asleep. So in the end this is the only shot I got of the stars at night.

The shot is a 15 minutes exposure (the star trails are caused by the earths rotation during that period). Actually 15 minutes wasn't enough, so the shot has been "pushed" a lot in the post-processing (It is still a bit dark). If I was to do more experiments I would have had to use at least 45 min. exposures using same aperture, and probably more - I think...
