Christmas time on Main Street USAMagical   Today my countdown reaches 15 days before my next Walt Disney World trip. I have always told people until I walk down Main Street USA, I have not arrived at Disney. Even if I've gone to some of the other parks first. As I learned last year when I did the Keys to the Kingdom Tour, Main Street USA is like the opening credits to a movie. As you walk up Main Street USA (and it does have a slight gradient upwards as you walk towards Cinderella Castle), the windows above the stores feature names of the people responsible for creating the Magc Kingdom. See below for an example. The forced perspective of the stores lead you to believe Cinderella Castle, is taller than it actually is and is the first major scene to the story of the Magic Kingdom.

Add some Christmas decorations on Main Street USA, sprinkle a little parent-child excitement as they head to a morning character breakfast with Pooh and Friends and you have a start to a very magical day at Walt Disney World. Comments

Card Walker, a Disney Legend, was the man who would often have to figure out ways to get the Disney brothers, Roy and Walt, to sit down and talk. In that respect he was a Practicioner of Psychiatry and a Justice of the Peace within the Disney company. Oh, and an avid golfer.
