Brightkite duplication on Facebook

So, I really like the fact that Brightkite can post to multiple places (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, etc), but on Facebook in particular there is a lot of duplication. Missing from this photo is the Twitter post that BK made, but even without that, BK seems to be posting 3 items in Facebook feed.

I've tried to use Ping.fm, but it doesn't seem to do the things that I want it to do. Basically, I'd like it to let me post from BK or any location based iPhone app and have that post disseminate without duplication to the other services that I use.

Does anyone have advice on this?
