Icy Sunset

Icy Sunset by Stew Stryker.
This is the same shot as Icy Sunset - B&W, but this doesn't feel as antique to me w/o the B&W. Large version looks better because you can see the ice details.

Unfortunately, this exposure doesn't show cloud that was flowing over the mountain, which added to the dreaminess of the scene. [sigh]

If you're suggesting a graduated ND filter to bring down the sky and bring up the foreground, I'm not sure that would have worked, given the mountain poking through. But I've never used one so can't say. I really want more contrast on the mountain, but my attempts looked artificial.

I'll give it another try though. You just reminded me (on the other shot) that Lightroom has a graduated filter that might be perfect here.
