Glorious place to work.
Only about half of the desk is in view. It becomes a bench to the left. Each UV-resistant window pane has a blind so you can work without glare on part of the workspace but still maintain the light and view. Those are Eames Aluminum Group chairs in the original wacky green.
To the right is a sunken living room with more built-in shelves.

But yes, //d, they are very comfortable. I did not try cross-legged as my lengthy femurs prevent that from happening in any chair. If you have the monies, it's a smart investment. Eames Aluminum Group.

How does one make such arrangements? This place is breathtaking!
P.S. I was scoping ebay for a vintage Eames Group Chair for a few weeks, but they still ended out of my budget. Weren't leather, though. I was opting for this FUN marigold upholstery. Ended up getting a chair from Ikea in the end. sigh.

@//d: The black version of this chair is slightly less expensive than the green. We love ours. I have an Aeron chair at work and much prefer the Eames Management chair.
