Tis' the season for reflecting.

For my nephew Luke here, I turned off the flash while using a remote switch and tripod.

Plan your escape.

Plan your escape.

With the way the world is today where a catastrophe could strike at anytime, everyone should have an 'Escape kit' like this one all ready to go at any given moment in case you ever have to 'Get outta Dodge' in a hurry. Or if you decide just head out to the mountains to get away from it all. If so, then get a kit like this.

Sun: Solar flares, storms & prominences.

Sun: Solar flares, storms & prominences.

Taken through my solar telescope at 17x magnification.
The huge flare at the top is 8 Earths high and 15 Earths across.
A 109 Earths could fit across the diameter of the Sun.
These storms and flares erupt hundreds of thousands of miles into space.
The surface temperature of the sun is 10,000 degrees fahrenheit. The core burns at 27 million.
Solar plasma electromagnetic radiation energy erupting from the sun is at an all time high as we reach the 11 year solar cycle that will peak in 2012-2013. The National Academy of Sciences, Nasa and experts from around the world are saying that we could be in for a cascade of catastrophe from the solar peak with the worlds electrical power grids being wiped out for months or years in about a year or so. Also increased sunspot activity which effects weather patterns from this cycle could be alot more severe and can cause strong stroms, hurricanes and volcanic eruptions causing cataclysms of apocalyptic proportions all around the globe.
(Rev 16:8) 'The fourth angel poured his bowl on the sun. The sun was allowed to burn people with fire.'
(2Peter 3:10)"...the elements will be destroyed with intense heat and the earth and its works will be burned up."

Have a little drink with me?

Have a little drink with me?

This full bodied red is inspired by the "Apotheca," a mysterious place in medieval Europe during the 13th century, where vinters blended and stored their most coveted wine. Its made up of spicy Zinfandel, with smooth Merlot and lush, dark Syrah. It has intense fruit aromas and flavors of rhubarb and black cherry that are complemented by hints of mocha, chocolate, brown spice and vanilla. I cant believe how a full bodied red can taste this smooth. Ive read that red wine in moderation fights cancer, reduces heart disease & reverses aging. If you wouldnt mind buying me a case, Id greatly appreciate it.

Drink your wine with a merry heart. ~Eccl 9:7
Drinking a little wine is good for your stomach. ~1 Tim 5:23
Getting drunk though is debauchery. ~ Eph 5:18
