This is another of my favorite shots that I scanned from 35 mm slide and posted last year. But I hated that the scan did not come out as nice as the original slide. I've improved many of the earlier scans now with a better higer-rez scans and noise reduction software. In most cases I just replaced the originals in my stream, but thought this was a good one to show the differnence between old quicky scan and calibrated noise reduced version that looks closer to the original.

Very nice indeeed. It is a superb imagery and loks very artistic. Your point is right that scanning takes away the real aspeects of 35mm. All my photos are 35mm and I feel a drag to scan so I am posting only digital at the moment.
