I inexpertly played with Photoshop CS3 to include the last frame that I shot in twilight. The last frame was a 510 second exposure at ISO400 f/4 with long exposure noise reduction on. The sky at Half Dome was overexposed from the soon-to-rise sun so it was pretty tricky getting it to blend with the startrail stack.
In this case it is really only a combination of the Valley of Stars shot with the long exposure I described above. What appear to be clouds are actually the Milky Way and some glow from the sun striking high haze.
