Harvard Square entrance to the subway, known locally as The T (from MBTA).

For this shot, I was trying to see how long or short of an exposure was needed to capture the motion of people during a single step, while still maintaining detail across the scene. Too long of an exposure and people would appear as long, faint smears, and too short of an exposure and they would appear too still without a sense of motion.

I just redesigned my blog, making this the banner image.
