Two days after Thanksgiving Western Washington experiened a wonderful sunrise. I woke early and drove to the public pier at Manchester, Wa. At first the clouds were thick but as the rise progressed the clouds moved away enough to leave this scene. The tide was headed out leaving me plenty of beach area to maneuver to work the pier in just right.

For the last 9 months or so Amtrak has advertised the King Tut exhibit in Seattle on one of its locomotives. Now that the exhibit ended the wrap will likely be removed and the 470 will go back to its former attire. In the mean time Amtrak 470 leads Amtrak Cascades train 500 into the depot at Vancouver, Wa.
