Diversity

Diversity by LostPizzaBoy.
I saw these Indian tourists, had a quick chat with them, asked if I could take their photo; slightly surprised, they were happy for me to.

From what I see, this shot does two things; First, it symbolises a fragment of the cultural diversity of Australia. But second, it emphasises that no matter how much we try to accept multiple cultures within the same society, as humans we're wired to have "ingroups" and "outgroups" - if we/Australia/I was 100% acceptant of diversity, this shot wouldn't have had the symbolism, and wouldn't have been taken...

For my record; a pretty serious photoshop job; as a photo, this prove to me the necessity of planning and consciously composing the photo, so that it's close to the scene you saw. Good learning curve.
