Nothing really special happened today. Just worked on learning a song for my upcoming wedding.

But I kind of laughed today when I made explore and began checking my page more often. I have the internet on my iPhone which makes this much easier than I need it to be.

I also thought about what Mav and I often talk about... all this attention never adds up to anything that puts food on the table. Between the podcast and my daily photos... all I'm really working for is attention.

To be fair, the project has made me a better photographer/artist... and that has gained me more work... but you guys really make this kind of thing worth it.

I think we're all attention whores in some way or another to be involved in a public forum like flickr. You just get to go above and beyond with the podcast too.

Here is my short perception of explore...

I noticed your cards image in explore and 2 pages later another image that had cards in it. Both had cards as tags.

Today I noticed a lot of images with the word Bokeh or the word poppy.

The explore algorithm must include certain words each day as one part of their selection process. Too bad we don't know what the future words would be.

LOL. i know what you mean.
most of my friends still don't understand the concept of 365, if we're not earning money why are we doing this and sometimes taking time to put stuff here... maybe its the attention.. but its not just that - like i only started getting attention recently :-) - i think most of all its really the sense of achievement and improvement we get after forcing us to do it everyday day.. practice makes perfect.. and 365 makes us better - but yeah the attention sure helps :-)
