March 11th 2008 - The Child In Me Seems High Sometimes

March 11th 2008 - The Child In Me Seems High Sometimes by Stephen Poff.
flickr did a much better job of processing this version.

So the mini-challenge for the 365 Days Podcast this week is to leap. Mickey Sacks suggested it. I mentioned that the winner was probably going to be Mikey... so Mav suggested that the challenge also be to beat Mikey at his own game. I don't know if I even come close, but it was fun trying ;-).

Today I got a lot done with the commercial I was working on. Kind of proud of the way it's coming out. It involves a lot of After Effects animation. I also got the rest of the podcast captured and edited. It's finally online now.

And... I got a hair cut! YAY!!

Now I gotta do my taxes... :-/

I love everything about this portrait, both "yous" the jumping one... omg! that leap, your legs are long and the converse, loved them! but your expression is so playful and your whole body is full of action... it was very well captured. The second you, kinda looks like a spy... If you look it this way, this picture seems to me like a game between two parts of yourself, a ninja and a spy, both of them very childish and innocent. I love both parts. Hihihi. I've always wanted to make a cloned selfportrait but don't know how :P Congrats, really loved it! I send you a big big hug! ^.^

Thanks! You cracked me up with the "leapfrogerbate" comment.

Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean by that... but thanks.

LOL... I'm sure you'll up the ante.

Thanks!

LOL... I tried to make it fun. Thanks.

Thank you. I love my Chuck's as well.

Wow... I love that you have a story for this. And thank you!

I try to mix it up ;-).

Thank you Allison.

Added... I don't speak french... but from what I could gather... this is good?

interesting idea, and it must take a lot of technical skill to produce something like this, but its not really my thing, I prefer documentary photographs because of the way they explore life and show social conscious

heeheehee. very well done.

I'm still hoping to get a jump shot in sometime this week since I'm the one making everyone else do them... but I've got a rather mangled toe (xray yesterday says its not broken, but I think the xray is a stinking liar) that has be limping like a gimp and I'm not sure if the landing will kill me. But then, we are supposed to suffer for our art, right? Something like that. :)

Thanks... some of that has to do with how low the camera is... but.. thanks ;-)

:-) Thanks! and yes... HORRAY for haircuts!

Thanks!

I gotcha... and thanks. I like that kind of stuff to... but I just don't have the opportunity to shoot that kind of stuff much, and I have too much fun producing this kind of stuff.

Thanks! It was fun for me for sure!

I was sorry to hear that considering that you suggested the challenge. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Thanks! I'd be glad to tell you if I knew specifically what you were asking about. Some of the color is a light treatment with a photoshop action called "urban acid". I ran the filter and then toned it way down. Just Google it and you'll find it.

LOL... no thank you! I'm glad I could make you look like the cool guy in front of the kid. Cherish that now... it goes away pretty quickly LOL

LOL... thanks. I'm exempt, but I appreciate that nonetheless.

LOL... well I'm glad you think so. I've seen a few clever ones though.

There's nothing to it... just JUMP! ;-)

Yay! I'm so glad she highlighted me on her stream. I feel so honored!
