My film "Songs About Your Girlfriend" was chosen as the feature-length film for the 2006 Ocean Springs Film Festival. The cast and I had not been together since our last screening on April 16, 2006 at the Silver Screen in Biloxi. So you can imagine how happy I felt to have at least some of my chilrens together again.

The film professor from the University of Southern Mississippi was there and said he'd give me an honorary film degree if he could. I took that as a huge compliment. I got to meet Eric Zala which was exciting. He and his childhood friends made an adaptation of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" that took them 7 years to film. They currently have a deal that's in the works for a feature film about their lives.

Afterwards Tam and I took Mom and Dad to dinner at Applebee's for Mother's day along with Barbie, Darrell, Clarissa, Joey, Nick, Donna and Alicia. We all had great fun.
