July 13th 2009 - Goodbye

Well, as you can see, my old office is devoid of all personality. It used to look a lot like this just yesterday.

I was getting all nostalgic about weird things like... putting gas in the van for the last time, pulling my Jolly Roger flag down from the window, deleting all my email. I felt like High School graduation all over again. In a sense working with Charter was a lot like High School. I don't feel like I learned a whole lot about what I do. I walked in there fresh from having made a feature film and knew my way around the camera and edit system, but I did make a lot of friends and have some good times along the way.

For all you guys from Charter, know that I leave with a heavy heart and although I know we'll still be seeing each other from time to time, I'll miss working with you on a daily basis.

July 12th 2009 - Autobots ROLLOUT!

Flickr oversharpened the smaller size... please see it Like this!

Had a shoot cancel today, so I decided to try this. I'd been thinking of this since I started packing up all the toys that were on my desk the other day... and then seeing the movie.. etc.

This was about all that happened today ;-).

Strobist info: I shot myself and the toys against a green screen with the diffused sky as the key and a Vivitar 285hv as the backlight at camera left. All other images were from a series of photos that I had from Hurricane Katrina and my trip to Denver Colorado a few years back.

July 11th 2009 - A New Horizon

Today was a lazy day spent with the missus and the girls. I meant to get out and do a few things, but it was just so nice being at home... so... there you go.

But this evening I did decide to get out and get a shot in front of the waning sunset. And since I missed the actual sun, I decided to do it up artificially.

July 10th 2009 - Don't Ask

It was late, just... I was just being stupid.. cause I was uninspired.

Anyway...

I took today off with the intention of taking Clarissa to the waterpark. But in the end she wasn't feeling well and we didn't get to go. So I spent the rest of the day uploading over 2 weeks of 365's.
