All Chocolate Aeroplane!

All Chocolate Aeroplane! by StephenMitchell.
SWMBO asked me to upload ASAP.
After all, a lot of time and effort went into this. About 60 minutes of pre-thought of how much chocolate was needed to melt down, about 30 minutes of fridge-time to freeze the home-made moulds to the necessary hardness for carving, and a further 60 minutes of building.

The wings and hull were made with a 5-pill-box, making each wing exactly the same size.
The remaining pieces were made from tiny carvings of the remaining pieces of chocolate. The wheels were the easiest - the embossed-plastic in the clear-lid of a CD-spindle.

We managed to transport it to the the party 60minutes away without any of it melting!!

Young Benjamin ate the wheels and one wing, whereas his grandfather managed salvage the remainder to slowly consume over the next two weeks. The last I saw of it was in the back of his fridge!

Now she can send her mother this link to see the aeroplane she built for my father.

Would you believe that my father (or my grandfather, I always get this story slightly wrong) was the first person to build a flying snoopy? And I mean snoopy sitting on the front his box, two short wings on the base plus wheels.
The two-stroke engine was somewhere in the front and the entire thing was made of polystyrene.
It flew. Quite well. But I have no idea where it ended up. I'm going to have to pester Dad for photographs!
