I used to use Sherlock under OS 9 for movie times all the time. Now I can get that on my Dashboard or iPhone.

Sherlock in Mac OS 9 (and 8.5 for that matter) was even weirder:

It wasn't until Mac OS X 10.2 you could actually use the Finder to find things.
