This is my wife's engagement ring. Slightly over one carat princess cut from Keepsakes, in White Hall, AR. for lighting, I used a standard incandescent bulb, and a small LED to get the two different colored reflections. The shot was hand held using the SuperZoom mode on my Sony Cybershot DSC-T10. Diamonds make such great eyecandy. I wish I had access to an SLR camera and a good macro lens to really get in close.

This is very very sharp, very clear.
Can you do this and get it less red? Maybe it's the incandescent lighting? I ask because I am trying to learn photography...
GORGEOUS diamond, by the way!
