This was actually the first time I have got this close and had a chance to look at the Olympic Cauldron. Quite the spectacular sight up close!

Gastown steam clock

Was continuing on my afterwork stroll down into Gastown for dinner with my lovely friend. I remember seeing a nickleback CD cover that had a similar concept and decided to see what I could do with my ultra-wide angle lens and a shitty ultrapod small tripod. Anyone have a suggestion for a nice dinky tripod I can carry with me everywhere?

Vancouver seaplane docks

Took a stroll after work around my office. It was a cloudy day and I got to the seaplane port and i loved the line patterns especially through a wide-angle lens. The dramatic cloud cover also created some dynamism for my liking.
