Every year there is an annual event for some cousins and wonderful friends to get together for a weekend of ice fishing.The lake has rainbow and speckled trout but this is only a part of this amazing 3 day event....fresh smoked trout, fish chowder, fresh battered fish, prime rib, and stuffed baked trout, a live band on Saturday night, dancing, ski-dooing and 4-wheeling are the highlights as well. I don't think anything tastes better than fresh caught fish from the ice cold water ...the flesh is so firm and the taste is incredible. Of course nothing could be more fun than to wander around this oasis for a few photo ops. Have a great week all!!
