Just to remind myself. There is a photo exhibition at Gålö Havsbad this summer. It features photos of clothes hanged out to dry. The pictures are from all over the world. The photographer is Ulla Arnby. She is from Växjö in Småland. The exhibition is called Tid Torkar Tvätt or Time Dries the Laundry. The photos are from Ecuador, Peru, Poland, Italy and Öland in Sweden.

Chainsaw Art

Easily recognisable sculptures, at least for me. Last year when I did the 100 Strangers Project I met an artist Lennart Jansson who used a chainsaw to make his art. And these are some of his sculptures. I found them next to a big tent at Lännåker. Sadly the artist passed away earlier this year.

Will it ever open?

Along the Dalarö road at the Lännåker Bay there is a big tent by the side of the road. Next to the tent stands a group of wooden sculptures made by an artist that I met last year, Lennart Jansson. And next to the sculptures you will find this cafeteria. There is a sign visible from the road that says that the coffee is ready. But the place has never opened. I took a walk around, but no one was there to answer my questions or serve me coffee.
