Returned to and old photo today to edit after buying Portrait Professional because it was on offer at £30. Only downside is that because I bought the "Standard" license and not the "Studio" license I don't get an Aperture plugin, which means I need to export to JPEG from Aperture, run the program and then add my watermark in GIMP. Bit of a pain, but worth it for the benefit I think. I don't usually shoot portraits but knowing how useful it can be (with moderation) I bought it and tested it out on this photo. I'd post a before/after shot but I don't think Rhi wouldn't like me for it :)

One from RIAT last year, I had this as my wallpaper for a while. You just don't forget the incredible sound of a Tornado GR4 with afterburners on at eye-level! It's exam season again, so don't expect much activity from me (as usual!) :)

I know, I know... it's been far too long. September, in fact was my last upload. But I have my excuses! The final year of university has been really hard so far, but I'm enjoying it and keeping at it. It's left me with little time to do much else but in the middle of October I got out to North Wales hoping for a few photos and got this sunset at Llyn Gwynant. For those that don't follow me on other social sites, I'm also now engaged to Rhi as of November 2nd following five years of us being together :)

Here's a landscape for a change from aircraft, this was taken back in June when I was in Scotland in a flying visit through the Isle of Skye. The light was changing every minute or so as the clouds shifted allowing different amounts of light through, making it quite hard to judge when to press the shutter. Still like this photo though and really want to go back here one day. Really is a stunning place :)

As if going to RIAT wasn't enough, I've been up to the Mach Loop again recently with a few others (total of 22 on the hill!) to shoot the RAF training at low level at the Tal Y Llyn pass in mid Wales. Really is amazing to see these fast jets make huge turns at speed like this.
