Mounir was quite tan when we got back from the Philippines, but not quite this dark.

cankles for structural integrity

The wedding is 33 days away and we haven't yet sorted out where we'll be getting the cake, but we have a cake topper.

Mounir wanted one in which the groom looked like him, and there aren't a lot of bald, goateed cake topper grooms out there. I was inspired by the ones by Nicole Wong.

What may not be entirely obvious is that the Fimo-we are leaning backwards (and therefore looking upwards) quite a lot. Which should work as long as whatever cake we choose is short enough that people are looking down on it, but is more of a bug than a feature.

We got back almost two weeks ago, but for most of the trip he was almost that dark. Clearly we just need to move somewhere hot and sunny so that the Fimo representation of him is more often accurate!
