Group Pool Admin: Warn + Delete

Clicking the [W] link beneath an image in a group pool that you are an administrator of opens the "Group Admin: Warn + Delete" popup window pictured to the left.

This popup window lets you email the user who posted an image that didnt follow the group's rules/guidelines, it also lets you delete the image, and optionally kick or ban the user.

Clicking the [X] link beneath an image, lets you quickly delete an image from the pool, without leaving the pool page.

You can optionally kick or ban the user using this select box

You can optionally delete the image, or all the users images in the pool, using this select box. The default is to delete just the one image, though you can select "Dont Delete" if you prefer.

SCRIPT UPDATED 10th April 2009!

I wrote a new GreaseMonkey script for Flickr called "Group Pool Admin: Warn + Delete"
It lets a group administrators and moderators more easily remove inappropriate images from a group's pool, lets you easily send a warning message to the user who posted the image to the pool and also lets you kick or ban the user all in one simple interface.

SCRIPT FEATURES:
* Quickly delete images from group pool without having to click "OK" each time
* Kick or Ban users directly from the group pool page
* Send a flickr mail to the user, explaining why their image was removed from the group pool
* an option to delete ALL the user's images from the pool
* Save messages as reusable templates.
* If you use the following variables in the subject and or message:

$USERNAME$
$GROUPNAME$
$PICURL$
$GROUPURL$

they will automatically be substituted with the appropriate values when you send the message.

what error are you getting patisfaction? its possibly clashing with some other scripts you have installed, try disabling them one by one and see if that fixes the problem.

As admin of a few groups I would like to email group (FlickrMail) members every now and then.
Maybe such a function could save the mail message in the groups discussion as well.

the obvious suggestion would be to try greasemonkey in firefox, as i dont have creammonkey, and have never mentioned that this script is creammonkey compatible ;-)

theres a safety mechanism built in to stop promoting a user automatically, if u select promote, a dialog box opens up asking you if you are sure you want to do that.

I want to know which pictures do not have certain texts in them and then remove them.

alex, do u mean u want to view the image or search the images description text? if you want to preview the image before deleting it, you should install the greased lightbox script.

btw ive updated the warn and delete script to fix the ban and kick functionality and ive removed the promote functionality, you can get the new version at the links at the top of the page.

This isn't working on Firefox 3 and the latest Greasemonkey. Before FF3, Greasemonkey hasn't worked since 0.7.20080121.0.

Added a '?' help link to explain how to use the substitution variables
Added a default message template which uses all the substitution variables
