White Pelicans Enjoying Easy Fishing by Stecyk

White Pelicans Enjoying Easy Fishing

I took this photograph close the Calgary's Bow River Submerged Weir. You can see my other pictures that feature the submerged weir on my Flickr photostream.

Just off to the left of the camera is construction for the Harvie Passage.

I encourage you to read my blog article Two Beautiful Women Enjoying A Kayak Trip Down The Bow River.

The weather was great with temperature in the high 20s, low 30s C, (~85F). This picture was taken near on the bike path approaching downtown.

In looking at this pictures, it looks somewhat odd, almost as though I dropped him into the scene in Photoshop. The reality is, he jumped in the air to catch the ball as I snapped this phicture.

His female friend threw amazing spirals.
