I have never seen a bicycle like this!
Wonder who does the steering.
The break is only on one of the handle bars.
I guess there would be backbreaks, only one person can steer and the handlebars steer in tandem.
But what if the person without control decides to hold on and not want to go the way the other person choses?
What about weight distribution? The man could be up to 20 kg heavier than the woman.
May be it is a prototype and does not actually work well...

This type of bike is sometimes called a 'sociable'. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociable Famous Australian cyclist Hubert 'Oppy' Opperman was apparently involved in the design of the Malvern Star model in our photograph. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Sociable_2.jpg
