New Hotness

This little number was on super sale at the local camera store. My 50 1.8 is busted (happened to a friend also. motor frizzed and made the element snap). Usable, but a real PITA if you know what I mean. It had front focusing issues, not to mention I had to hold it together.

I am pleased with this purchase. I had set aside money for a lens since I knew I needed to replace the 1.8. Gary Dad says he is proud of my decision, so that's enough to make my tightwad self stop freaking over getting it. Besides, I haven't bought a single lens since I started shooting a year and a half ago.

Can't wait to share this with Beau! Heaven knows he's been patient with me stealing his lenses.
