I saw spectacular pantomimes here in the mid 1950s. They ran from November to Easter in those days - as spectacular as any modern West End musical. Last went there on Boxing Day a few years ago to see "Les Mis" - better than the London production. Lovely venue.
Forgot to say - thanks for the fantastic pictures. Theatre = magic; and your shots bring it out big-time! Full of atmosohere.
