Edit this photo. Use a web2.0 app to edit a web2.0 logo mosaic.

At least we know that the graphic designers have a revenue model in the Web 2.0 world.

I see some Web 1.0 logos on there... Good to see some companies can adapt!

Why do so many of these look (and sound) like they are selling the next Slinky?

it's unfortunate that shoutwire is listed, since it is more or less a combination of stolen and immitated digg code.

Hey, BoingBoing just pointed to this graphic--but on somebody else's Flickr page! www.boingboing.net/2006/02/06/dozens_of_web_2 0_com.html

Those are some "intelligent designs" up there, but, I dunno, in America it only feels like Web 1.2 around here with only 60% landline broadband saturation at best and very, very little wide area wireless broadband (so we have a dearth of wireless killer apps, etc.) and still many of our cell phones are locked down unlike the rest of the world.

Web 2.0 is happening in other countries like Japan, South Korea, etc.... while America is way BEHIND. Thanks oppressive Bush administration who still believes global warming and evolution is a hoax! You're great!

BTW, yes... I know, Web 2.0 refers to web apps not broadband... but who cares about web apps if our wireless devices and access still sucks? Oh, and just what is a Web 2.0 app? Well, it's any app that runs online that basically looks and acts like Apple Mac OS X apps from 6 years ago. Hahaha...

Oh, and just what is a Web 2.0 app?

    I thought a Web 2.0 app was:

    1. Perpetual beta phase.
    2. Rounded corners
    3. Giant fonts
    4. AJAX
    5. Checkbox icons
    6. RSS feeds all over the place
    7. Tags
    8. "Social _____"
    9. AdSense support
    10. GoogleMaps integration

  24. cowicide (89 months ago | reply)

wyclif... you mean Alpha phase, right? Beta is so passé, hahaha....

    let the people add notes!

  26. kn0thing (89 months ago | reply)

Although we probably don't qualify as web 2.0, I thought I'd add a few more reddit logos to the fray.

  27. mbone3000 (89 months ago | reply)

FYI, i'm sure there are a lot youv'e left off, but you definitely missed Buzznet.

Perhaps being first isn't very Web 2.0.

  28. philosophistry (89 months ago | reply)

I would buy a poster of this. Can you let me know when someone does that?

  29. Satya W (89 months ago | reply)

That would make a better-than-average quilt. Always gotta see the schwag for the trees.

  31. Shimrit&Yaar (89 months ago | reply)

Definition of Web 2.0: Brands with orange and/or green logos.

  32. Ludwig Gatzke (89 months ago | reply)

@mbone3000: buzznet is behind the allmydata (photoshop) layer. Did this just for fun and some mistakes happened ;) look out for buzznet at the second part coming soon!

  33. cngump (89 months ago | reply)
