Sir Stanley Matthews CBE (1915-2000) Statue. Unvailed 27th October 2001 at the Brittania Stadium.

The three nine-foot statues were made by local artists (Julian Jeffery, Carl Payne, Andrew Edwards), showing Sir Stanley at different stages of his 30 year career. The statues themselves were fashioned from local clay before being cast.
