Shot a cover photo for a song we neighbors cobbled together :)

Strobist info: shot manual through an umbrella at full power. Umbrella was about a feet away from the subjects...just over their heads. Each portrait was shot separately and combined later.

Whether you are celebrating the winter solstice, birth of your favorite god, rededication of you favorite temple.. or if you like me, just celebrating extra vacation days.. whatever your reasons are.. find a reason to be happy..

On the left you see the eclipsed moon over golden gate bridge and on the right you see a half eclipsed and fully eclipsed moon..

If you think that it is tricky to shoot the moon.. try shooting an eclipsed one. There is too little light and the damn thing moves faster than you think. Bumping up the ISO somewhat helps.. but the noise artifacts are somewhat unbearable..

I'll give you 3 guesses to figure out what this is...
