Edited to add: I'd shot a bunch of rapidfire AF shots that were garbage, and then I jacked up the ISO, switched to manual focus, put the focus in front of her, and shot until I got one I liked. Didn't take too long.

You shoot both Nikon and Canon? Which do you prefer? And how do they compare? I'm getting the 40D but would love to get the 5D...I even thought of switching to the Nikon D300, but that's pretty risky. lol That, and it's more expensive...including new lens purchases. *Edit* Didn't realize Cinnamon linked to a different user. LOL Sorry. Don't mind me.....
