Foggy Sunset

Foggy Sunset by squarewithin.
The fog began to clear rapidly around sunset allowing me to capture this amazing orange light streaming through it.

btw - your work has totally sold me on the D70 as my next camera (i whisper this, 'less my trusty Canon hears it and pulls a norma rae)

Ironically, half the reason I got the D70 was it was Nikon. Not that I have any fanboy loyalty, but this is Nikon SLR #3, and the interface is pretty much second nature. I realized how much so when I started using the camera for night shots and knew how many knob clicks to turn things without checking or reading the manual.

Just a word of caution. The good lenses on both systems are equally good. Go with whatever you like and know. I stuck with Nikon because I can't make heads or tails out of my Dad's Elan IIe.

the specs on the D70 appeal to me more than the EOS Dig Rebel. And your night/low light work showed me what can be done in the hands of someone who thinks about his shots.

Near instant on, 12 consecutive shot buffer @ 3 fps, larger image sensor, faster shutter speed, AE sensor, faster RAW processing - sigh.... Its helluva lot of goodness for the same price as the 300D. thx again.
