Story told to me by a colleague once: He was a mainframe operator for some company (name not known, and not important). He walks in and sees the other operator reach out and put the peril sensitive sunglasses on. He asks 'why?'. Gets the answer 'I see nothing wrong'. Then he notices that the console has a lightning bolt 505. This means the mainframe has crashed. What better use for them can you have?
