A soaring view above the Prudential 2 building reveals the tower's mechanical insides to its angled top. The mechanicalness makes it look like a transformer. Look out! Chicago has a Transformer skyscraper ready to bust out at any moment! Let's just hope it's an autobot and not a decepticon. Or wait, maybe it's just planet earth slowly being transformer into planet Cybertron. Snap.
Also featured in this shot is the Jeweler's building to the left under construction. It looks like it has a bandage around one of its four thumbs.
Marina City peeks in on the top with neighboring State Street bridge crossing the Chicago River.
Then we get to the magical Carbon and Carbide building with its funky classic art deco spire inspired by a champagne bottle. I love this shot, because it's the reversal of one of my favorite photos at: www.flickr.com/photos/spudart/438434504
