Another one of my crazy scorecards. This one is from the April 17th,
2008 9-2 loss of the Chicago Cubs against Cincinnati Reds. Highlights
of this game include:
* Ken Griffey, Jr's 596th career homerun.
* Reds' Joey Votto drives in five runs
* Cubs Reed Johnson get five hits (oops, i mean four hits).
* Quotes from heckling Sox fan sitting the row behind us.

Oh dude, i want to add a Votto cyborg drawing on the scorecard now. I might be updating this image, because I made some changes. e.g. the drawing of lieber is actually of lilly.

Your Cubs scorecards always rock. They're artistic, creative and very fun to read.

You, sir, keep awesome scorecards. I love the annotations that will bring back memories 30 years from now.

Your scorecard is the greatest! I'd go along with ensign_beedrill... the most creative scorecard I've ever seen too.
(Check your Flickr comments: "* Cubs Reed Johnson get five hits." Reed Johnson left the game with four hits)

Thanks blumer! Yeah, i'm hoping that having a more detailed scorecard will help people to relive the game a bit more. It makes me wonder about all the technology that mlb.com has now with gameday live and how games are recorded in an enhanced way.
And there's something to be said about having the entire game encapsulated one one 8.5x11 sheet of paper. That's what's really cool about scorecards to me. That's why i get disappointed with the U.S. Cellular scorecards, they put them on a spread with a team getting each page. I'd much rather have it in one succinct page. Plus that way, it looks much nicer inside a three-ring binder.

Thanks! I'm always thinking of ways to make the scorecard more creative. I certainly welcome anyone to do scorecards like this, and especially to do your own take on it with other enhancements and notes.
(and thanks for catching my error in my photo description, i just updated it. hehe.)
