yeah its milk it was for a canon photo competition the brief was to capture liquid in motion so I used milk. Will- I have a couple that tuned out like that one as well. I hadn't seen that before hand though if that's what you were asking.

dunno how you got the focus right and the flash to go in time to get the shot, i have tried a bit like this and my old canon slr is so inconistent sometimes it will instantly take the photo and sometime when its dark focusing close like this it will take ages fiding the focus and thinking about what flash to use and i dunno whatever other shit it thinks about

@nnpmc7-- A tip: Let's say you wanted to do a shot like this.Not sure how coolhandluke did it, but I'd have someone stand where I am gonna toss the milk, and auto focus on them, maybe use a flashlight to help. Probably use a fairly small aperture, say, f/7 or more... so you have more in focus, a greater depth of field that is. Then switch to manual focus, and then you can take shots easily without worrying about the camera focus hunting.

@curtis - Yes, it has been done. I just wouldn't consider it "ripping off" somebody's work if you haven't seen it before. Just a coincidence. I think they're both nice. It is good to point out though.
