I'd be really interested to hear what you think of this picture. This is Hisley Bridge, Dartmoor, a medieval packhorse bridge on a woodland walk.
I spent quite a while finding compositions and wading through the stream but then I stopped at this spot and my mind wandered over the bridge and under it, as if it was part of a fairytale. I imagined for a moment that I was back in time, because it really does feel ancient right there.
I think compositionally it doesn't really adhere to the usual 'rules' but for me it feels right. I didn't want to post my more obvious shots so I thought I'd see what you make of this. Probably best viewed large. Let your eyes wander all over.
