You want me to what?

You want me to what? by spotboslow.
I spent several days trying to get Hextall to pose with a pumpkin.

Apparently, she doesn't like to be typecast.

nice shot -and black cats can be hard to photo just right. what i want to know is how you manage to do puzzles with a cat in the house, without the cat constantly jumping on the table, scattering all the pieces to kingdom come.

Try this: carve it out empty and just leave it open on the floor with the lid off. Your cat will probably crawl right in, one of our now departed cats, Jerry Lee, used to do that. He was a medium length long haired black cat with white boots and jowls (like a beautiful Sylvester). He came walking around the house one day just COVERED in pumpkin snot and seeds. He stunk after it started to dry too. But cats like to go inside enclosed things. Bet Hextall might go in if you make it an enclosure.

Thanks! :)

We have three in the house...but surprisingly, they didn't really bother the puzzle! I did put the box on top of it at first, though. Just in case.

Good thought....but Hex couldn't fit in a pumpkin! The angle makes her look trim, but really she's like a bowling ball with legs. ;)

:::smacks forehead:::: Why the heck didn't I think of that?!

Our current cat, he's a rescue cat, we've now had him 4 years, he has feline aids but is totally healthy, no symptoms -- 35 POUNDS!!! His name is Connor. Connor O'Malley McNeilly Beeney. As a contractor in the house once pointed out, "oh my goodness, he's like a Beluga". I thought "$$@%!! you, calling my cat a beluga whale". Then I said to my husband, "actually, you know, his colouring is like a beluga, and his eyes are far apart like they have them, and his belly is BIG". Guess we have one big sweet beluga of a cat. Who DEFINITELY would not fit inside a JOL like Jerry Lee did.
