I butterflied and grilled a whole chicken. It was awesome. Marinated in olive oil and vinegar with garlic, parsley and lemon.

My new favorite thing to do.

jdy, I cooked it on just over low for about 40 minutes. Started it back down then finished it on the breasts. I did not this time but I usually use a digital probe thermometer. The only real way to know if it is done perfectly.

BTW butterflying is really easy with scissors. You just cut down each side of the back bone.
