The view from Friar's Crag along Derwentwater towards Borrowdale, early one October morning (about 7.45am); a perfectly still symmetrical reflection of pink sunrise, part of Catbells and an island in the lake.
...and then I strolled back to the B&B for breakfast, eyes twinkling, feeling like prehistoric wild-man returning to civilisation.
So subtle and beautiful! I would not have
guessed it was taken in Borrowdale ! One of
my favourite areas in the Lake District.
