Amazing colors. I hope the food was tasty... It's hard to tell if it's a spoon or a fork in that creme brulee (though I'm sure only philistines eat creme brulee with a fork...)

Where do you get all these fabulous backgrounds? Is this more fabric?

Anca, that certainly is a spoon in the creme brulee... but in a pinch, I'm sure I would use a fork or even chopsticks if no spoon were available. The background is a fabric, as are most of my backdrops. I just keep my eyes out for scraps and occasionally go shopping at fabric shops around the east bay to get my materials.

the peppercorns were actually a good touch in the creme brulee. The sharp spikes of spicyness contrast quite well against the sweet creme flavor.
